The 80G & 12A Registration Changes You Must Know About
New provisionally registered NGOs must re-apply: The Finance Act 2020 introduced mandatory re-registration of all 80G and 12A registrations. NGOs that had permanent registrations now need to apply for 5-year provisional registration and then final registration. Many NGOs have unknowingly lapsed.
